Our confidentiality promise

Your tech pack and design remain your intellectual property.

Customer technical information is used only to provide the service requested.

What we will not do

  • We do not sell customer designs.
  • We do not publish customer tech packs.
  • We do not use customer work in advertising, social media or case studies without explicit written permission.
  • We do not use a customer's design to manufacture, source or develop a competing product for somebody else.
  • We do not use customer files as general AI training material.

AI-assisted analysis

The Clinic's live Health Check workflow uses the OpenAI API for AI-assisted first-pass analysis. OpenAI states that API inputs and outputs are not used to train its models by default. The Clinic has API data sharing disabled and does not opt customer files into model-training or data-sharing programmes.

The Clinic analyser requests responses with store:false, applies a one-hour expiry safeguard to temporary API file uploads where supported, and requests deletion of the temporary API file immediately after analysis. OpenAI's published API terms nevertheless state that API inputs and outputs may be retained for up to 30 days for service provision and abuse monitoring unless a different retention control applies.

Live customer tech packs are not processed through Richard's personal ChatGPT workspace. AI findings remain an internal draft until reviewed by a Senior Garment Technologist.

NDA available before upload

If a customer wants a Non-Disclosure Agreement in place before sending confidential product information, the Clinic will provide one before upload. Our standard Customer Confidentiality Agreement is also published in full so you can read it before deciding whether to send us anything.

Sample reports

Any sample report or mock tech pack shown on our website or advertising is created by us specifically for demonstration purposes unless we clearly state that written permission has been obtained. Customer work is never assumed to be available for marketing.

File retention

Working customer tech-pack files are normally retained only for the time reasonably required to complete the service and immediate follow-up, and are normally deleted within 30 days after the final report and immediate follow-up are complete, subject to the exceptions explained in our full Data Handling Policy.
